Welcome to the blog about learning and appreciating the art of taking pictures. This site was created to keep two amateur photographers accountable in improving their capabilities with a camera, as well as simply sharing art. The goal is to make one post every week and complete "assignments" that expand our knowledge of photography.
Week 1 - Low Lighting
I took this picture this past week at Priest Lake from the North end of the lake (Grandview Resort). The sun had set and the wind had died down leaving a stillness to this dock. I love landscape shots in low lighting because of the soft colors that are so evident before all light is lost.
shutter 1/10, aperture f 22.0, focal length 18mm, ISO 200
